Land Mafia Grabbing CDA Lands

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has been losing its land worth billions of rupees to land mafia and the matter is getting worst due to active support of the concerned elected representatives to the encroachers.

The encroachers are grabbing up the precious land in the suburbs of the city and even the beds of nullahs are no exception. CDA higher officials have spotted a group of land grabbers, which was encroaching upon the bed of Korang Nullah by constructing an RCC wall. The construction was started after sunset and until morning; a four feet high wall was constructed right in the middle of the nullah occupying around 3 kanals of CDA land.

However, the CDA team has demolished the wall with the help of police officials and confiscated a tractor trolley and other construction material from the location.
