United States envoy for Pakistan and Afghanistan Richard Holbrooke has announced yearly 100 US visas for the business community of Karachi. Talking to Governor of Sindh Dr Ishratul Ebad and City Nazim Syed Mustafa Kamal in Governor House Holbrooke said the US wants to help Pakistan especially Karachi. He said the United States next month will release 900 million dollars for aid to Pakistan. The aid will be used for the welfare of the people of FATA, Swat and Balochistan. A delegation of MQM also called on the US envoy at Governor House. Holbrooke expressed his concern over rising Talibanization. The delegation demanded opening of the US embassy visa section in Karachi.
