Multan: Recent directives from Punjab Chief Minister during his visit to Multan have paved the way for the upgrade of roads in the district, according to details on January 18.

Commissioner Amir Khattak announced these developments during a meeting held on Wednesday. The CM directed the initiation of road upgrades starting from BCG Square, underscoring the urgency of implementing this directive promptly.

Furthermore, Commissioner Amir Khattak stressed the importance of taking practical steps for the upgradation of MDA Road. He requested a detailed progress report on this initiative within the next few days.

In the realm of infrastructure development, Commissioner Khattak provided an update on the construction of Nawabpur road, mentioning that its tender had already been issued, and mechanical work, with a budget of PKR 500 million, was efficiently underway. He assured that the project would be completed within the stipulated timeframe of 2 months.

Addressing the officers overseeing development projects, Commissioner Khattak urged them to go the extra mile in resolving issues faced by citizens, aligning with the CM's directives. He emphasized the importance of ensuring that the benefits of government policies reach the common public.
