Rawalpindi Ring Road (RRR) Project: 12% Completion, Anticipated Opening in August


Rawalpindi: Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced significant advancements in the Rawalpindi Ring Road (RRR) project, covering a distance of 38 kilometers. The leading newspaper reported this update on December 31.

According to available information, 12% of the RRR project has been successfully accomplished. During his visit to the project site, CM Naqvi instructed relevant departments to accelerate their efforts, underscoring the importance of a timely project completion. He expressed confidence in finishing the project by August and highlighted its regional significance, emphasizing the potential benefits it will bring to the residents of Islamabad and Rawalpindi upon completion.

Furthermore, CM Naqvi inspected the ongoing construction of a temporary bridge at Soan River and commended the Frontier Works Organization (FWO) for its efficient execution. He also provided updates on other ongoing projects in Punjab, including the progress on the Daducha Dam construction, aimed at addressing the clean drinking water shortage in Rawalpindi. The CM assured that measures were being taken to alleviate traffic issues at the Kutchery Chowk of Rawalpindi through an extension project.
