CDA Initiates Digital Transformation of Plot Data for Enhanced Public Convenience

Islamabad: On October 10, reports from reliable sources revealed that the Capital Development Authority (CDA) is taking significant steps to digitize plot records in an effort to enhance public convenience.

According to the information available, the CDA plans to develop a dedicated website gateway designed to streamline the process. This website will offer comprehensive information about residential and commercial plots, as well as buildings. The CDA authorities are currently working on creating a standardized pro forma for the submission of complete plot details. This pro forma will serve as the foundational tool for building a digital repository of records. Through an online portal, citizens will have unrestricted access to this digitized information.

This digitization initiative will begin with the record of D-12 in its initial phase, serving as a pilot project. Once the pilot project is successfully implemented, records from all sectors will gradually undergo digitization. This all-encompassing effort will encompass records from various departments, including the revenue directorate, planning, estate management, and building control.

In addition, citizens will be able to easily access information related to water fees, property taxes, and other obligations without the need to physically visit CDA offices. With a simple click, individuals can access comprehensive plot information, marking a significant stride toward enhancing public accessibility and convenience.
