LDA Director General Ahad Khan Cheema chaired the meeting of the governing body at his office on Saturday that reviewed progress on acquisition of land for the scheme and other relevant issues. Cheema directed the officials concerned to expedite their efforts to acquire land for the scheme in seven villages of Lahore District including Kahna, Kacha, Thay Panju, Sidhar, Halloki, Rakh Jhedu and Toor Warriach. He called for long-term planning to provide basic necessities of life in the scheme.
