Lahore: Free surgeries for burnt and cut lips in Shalimar Hospital

THE Shalimar Hospital in collaboration with the House of Charity performed 152 free surgeries of people suffering from burnt and cut lips during the one month free camp. House of Charity Executive Director Hashmat Afandy, addressing a press conference, said the mission of treatment for the have-nots would not stop just at this camp but would continue doing so in future as well. Chief Executive Shalimar Hospital Dr Rashid Ahmed said the surgery of 152 patients under the leadership of American expert surgeon Dr Egress was a great chapter in the history of social work in Pakistan, and the hospital aimed at conducting such camps in future as well. He appreciated the amazing help extended by the House of Charity.
