Lahore:Bank’s own security guard loots Rs 4,800,000

LAHORE: An armed man stormed a local bank at Brandreth Road, where he was serving as a security guard, along with three accomplices and stole Rs 4,800,000, a private TV channel reported on Sunday.

The channel reported that Saleem, a guard from the Fauji Foundation Security Agency, run by former senior superintendent of police Rana Munawwar, had joined the bank’s security team about four days ago.

The Mansehra resident held everyone at the branch hostage as he and his accomplices stole the money. The bank administration has requested the police to register a case against the guard.
