Good morale-boosting victory for overseas Paksitani On Father's Day

NEW YORK - Pakistanis living in the US, who watched their cricket team’s eight-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in the Twenty20 World Cup final on satellite channels, are celebrating the triumph in a style.
Several restaurants and community centres across the country had made special arrangements to bring in the transmission and large numbers of Pakistanis turned up to watch the final from Lord’s in London. Shouts of “Pakistan Zindabad” (Long Live Pakistan) went up as Shahid Afridi steered Pakistan to the title with an unbeaten 54.
They exchanged greetings with each other and distributed sweets. It was after a long time that they received some good morale-boosting news involving Pakistan, as Father’s Day was celebrated in the US.
