Lahore: ‘No water in Pak Arab Society’

THE residents of the Pak Arab Welfare Association have asked the associationís administration to solve their problems like the unavailability of water, electricity and gas on a priority basis.

According to a press statement issued on Tuesday, the members of the Pak Arab Welfare Association held a protest demonstration against the administration of the Pak Arab Society on Ferozepur Road. The protesters said they did not have water for the last three days.

The deputy director of the society and Col Ahamd assured the protesters that their demand would be fulfilled as soon as possible.

The protesters dispersed peacefully after getting a written assurance from Col. Ahmad which said that all the demands by the residents were reasonable and needed to be addressed at the earliest.
