Two FIA officials suspended for issuing arrest warrant of Sindh Home Minister

ISLAMABAD (December 08 2008): Taking serious notice of including the name of Sindh Home Minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza in an outdated list, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Interior Rehman Malik on Sunday suspended two officers of FIA, Hyderabad.

The officers suspended for showing negligence are additional Director Bashir Ahmed Bhutto and Assistant Director Abdul Hameed Bhutto, said a press release issued here.

The FIA has dully apologised from Sindh Home Minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza for this negligence. Rehman Malik has appointed Director FIA Islamabad Shahid Nadeem Baloch as Inquiry Officer to immediately investigate the matter and submit report within three days so that an action could be taken against those found guilty of the negligence.
