RDA compensates Metro Bus land owners

Metro Bus Implementation Committee Chairman Hanif Abbasi and Rawalpindi Commissioner Zahid Saeed on Saturday, distributed vouchers of payment of compensation among the owners of land acquired for Rawalpindi-Islamabad Metro Bus Project (RIMBP).

Vouchers amounting to Rs22.78 millions were distributed among six owners of the land and vouchers of Rs 8 million were distributed among the tenants.

One window operation has been launched in the office of Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) to facilitate payment of compensation to the owners of the land. The one window operation has been started in the office of Land Acquisition Collector, RDA.
