‘The Mall may have parking plaza’

LAHORE : DCO Lahore Noor-ul-Amin Mengal has said that a proposal for the construction of a parking plaza at The Mall is under consideration so that traffic and parking issues can be resolved there properly.

After the consultation with the trader community of The Mall, a proper place for the parking plaza will be selected at Hall Road or near Alfalah building. DCO Lahore also ordered to start the operation against encroachments at The Mall and directed the town administration to confiscate all goods during the operation, and follow-up operation should continue after the anti-encroachment drive. He expressed these views while addressing a meeting with The Mall Trader Association at The Mall.

On this occasion, President of The Mall Trader Association Sohail Butt and other office-bearers were also present.The DCO Lahore said if any staffer of the CDGL involved in bribe-take during the operation then case would be registered with anti-corruption police.
