LDA demolishes 'illegal' site offices of four housing schemes

The staff of the Metropolitan Planning Wing of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) demolished the entrance gates and sealed site offices of four housing schemes along Ferozepur Road during its operation against illegal housing schemes in the city on Monday.

According to a LDA's spokesperson, action was taken against the following societies: Gulberg Park Housing Scheme, Green Cap Housing Scheme, Roshan Town, and Vital Homes Housing Scheme. Meanwhile, upon joining LDA in pursuance of government of the Punjab notification Muhammad Usman (PAS/BS-18) has been posted as Additional Director General (Housing), LDA, relieving Irfan Ali Bhatti, who has been transferred and posted as Technical Advisor to Director General, LDA.
