President seeks speedy completion of M-9 project

KARACHI, Apr. 24 (APP): President Asif Ali Zardari Tuesday took notice of delay in Karachi-Hyderabad M-9 road project and directed for speedy completion of the project.Presiding over a meeting here at Bilawal House to review progress on road projects in Sindh province, the President asked to convene a special meeting of the NHA, the contractors and the consultants without delay to address issues in speedily completing the work on M-9 project.Spokesperson Senator Farhatullah Babar said the meeting was attended by Sindh Chief Minister, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Finance Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, Chief Secretary Sindh, Chairman NHA Muhammad Ali Gardezi and other senior officials of the concerned departments specially reviewed progress made on Karachi-Hyderabad M-9 project.
