RDA to decide about removing U-turns at Murree road in two days

Rawalpindi—The issue of the removing U-turns on Murree Road has been suspended for the time being as the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has been given two days for traffic study to remove the U-turns in order to ensure smooth flow of traffic.

According to details, the traffic mess after the opening of Chandni Chowk Flyover has been taken up seriously while the closing of Naz Cinema U-turn and others are postponed for the time being. Moreover, RDA is given two days deadline for traffic study.

On the other hand, the elected representatives have also supported the removal of U-turns on Murree Road. The citizens said that the flyover was meant to ensure smooth flow of traffic on the road but it has further compounded the traffic mess at the U-turns. They urged the authorities to start work on the proposed Sixth Road flyover as soon as possible to facilitate the commuters at Murree Road.
