Islamabad :Residents demand road carpeting



slamabad—Residents of I-9/4 have demanded of the CDA to take steps for carpeting road from I-9 police station to I-10 petrol pump.

“This entire area is populated by government employees. The road has been expanded but it still lacks carpeting work. In the absence of carpeting work, the road is still bumpy and traffic flow is hampered. This creates traffic problems”, said a member of welfare society of the area.

“Our motor cycles get punctured daily due to non carpeting of the road and we have to spend a lot in connection with puncture charges daily, said a group of government employees in complaining tone.The patients have also to face jerks upon jerks of the road while going to hospital in taxis or ambulances, the welfare society office bearers sounded impatient.
