LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) office on Monday returned a petition challenging the allotment of land to the United States and NATO forces in Balochistan with direction to the petitioner to file it before the LHC Bench in Rawalpindi.

Illamud Din advocate had moved the petition, stating that the government had handed over a large area to foreign forces for airbases, which was against the sovereignty of the country. He said the government could not allot Pakistani land to foreigners.

He said giving space for the airbases would increase drones attack in Pakistani. He requested the court to declare the government action as unconstitutional.
