PM sacks 2 NRO beneficiaries

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday sacked two NRO beneficiaries from their posts.

The Prime Minister terminated the services of Pir Mukarram-ul-Haq, executive director of Pakistan Printing Corporation and Sadiq Ali Khan, managing director of Federal Employees Benevolent and Group Insurance Funds.

All benefits availed by the two in form of pay and allowances would be recoverable from him.

The services of Pir Mukarram-ul-Haq were ended from September 8, 2004, the date of his conviction by the Accountability Court.

Sadiq Ali Khan, a former officer of the Utility Stores Corporation, has been terminated from August 14, 2009.
