LAHORE: The Pakistan People's Party's (PPP) Punjab said on Tuesday that governor's rule could be imposed in the province if the Punjab government failed to control the province's deteriorating law and order, a private TV channel reported.

Replying to question during a joint press conference, PPP Central Deputy Secretary Information Haider Zaman Qureshi and Provincial Finance Secretary Aurangzeb Barki said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government was playing a vital role in eliminating terrorists from the country, therefore, the demand for the governor's rule was misplaced for KP, the channel reported.
