CDA cancels plots auction scheduled for 24th

Capital Development Authority (CDA) has cancelled open auction of residential and commercial plots scheduled for October 24.
CDA has cancelled this open auction due to dharnas by Pakistan Tehreek-e- Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT). CDA has cancelled this open auction four times earlier due to sit ins and this time it has also decided to cancel it due to negative trend prevailing in real estate business in the wake of prolonged dharnas.
As many as 20 commercial plots and 50 residential plots were likely to be put to auction during the open auction to be held on October 24.
