Fake medicines found at Jinnah Hospital pharmacy

LAHORE: A special team of drug inspectors formed by District Coordination Officer (DCO) Sajjad Bhutta confiscated fake medicine worth thousands of rupees from a private pharmacy in Jinnah Hospital on Monday. The team sealed the pharmacy. Samples and the action report were sent to the district quality control board chairman, the DCO, the provincial quality board and the federal quality board. The team consisted of Drug Inspector Shuakat Wahab, Drug Inspector Amir Rizvi and Drug Inspector Muhammad Jamil. staff report
