The excise department's crackdown on tax defaulters seems to get speedier and more efficient by the minute. The taxation department under the orders of the caretaker government is carrying out property tax survey and is giving warnings to tax defaulters and is also sealing such properties who haven't paid their property tax amounting to many lacs.

The Taxation and Excise department's AETO took action against many properties while visiting tax defaulter properties and sealed two farmhouses. He also sealed 55 other properties who owed taxes to the department.
