ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority Chairman Imtiaz Inayat Elahi on Wednesday suspended CDA Building Control Director Muhammad Tahir Banuri with immediate effect. CDA Member Administration SM Farooqui told this news agency that the director had been suspended for his slackness in preparation of the documents to be produced before the Senate Standing Committee on Interior. The standing committee met under the chair of Senator Talha Mehmood at CDA headquarters and discussed the matter of relocation of embassies and diplomatic missions working in the residential areas of the federal capital. The member administration said the suspension would be followed by an inquiry against the official. app
