Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Administrator Brig. Khalid Tirmizi has said that a new model residential estate ‘DHA City’ would be developed on Super Highway soon. Tirmizi was speaking at a briefing given to Commander 5 Corps and DHA Executive Board President Lt Gen. Shahid Iqbal who visited the project site on Tuesday. DHA City is a new residential-cum-commercial venture spread over an area of approx. 12,000 acres of land which is being developed by DHA Karachi on land acquired from the Sindh government. The project is reportedly being planned in accordance with modern town planning concepts and would have a number of wide roads.
