Shalimar Gardens Lahore (snap) - Naveed Yaseen - 12-24-2008 09:30 AM LAHORE: A view of the historic Shalimar Gardens that has been declared a World Heritage site in by UNESCO. Shalimar Gardens, is a Persian garden and was constructed during the Mughal era by Shah Jahan. The project management was carried out under the superintendence of Khalilullah Khan, a noble of Shah Jahan's court, in co-operation with Ali Mardan Khan and Mulla Alaul Maulk Tuni.
