The Metro Bus Project of the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad is still not completed so the inauguration date is moved to the month of March. The actual date was 31st January, 2015.
The project was expected to be completed at the end of December last year but at that time, it was said that the sit-ins of two political parties were the cause of the delay so the date was extended to the end of this month.
The project is still uncompleted as the overhead bridge at Faizabad is not completed. The flyover at Peshawar Mor is a separate project and will be completed in May. The patch work, bus stops and elevators and stairs are yet to be completed so the authorities have decided to extend the date till March for the completion of the project
