Restriction on construction along Margalla Avenue - Salman - 12-28-2013 12:21 PM
Islamabad—Capital Development Authority (CDA) and federal capital police has imposed the complete restriction on new constructions along both sides of Margallah Avenue and Kuri road.
Detail said, CDA has decided to launch the operation to recover the official land from grabbers with the assistance of police, while 3 police check posts have been also established for the elimination of encroachments and illegal constructions.
The decision of operation was taken in a joint meeting of CDA and police officials where it was decided that no one will be allowed to start any new construction on the land of CDA.
D.I.G Operations said that police has established one check post on Kuri road, while 2 on Margallah Avenue where both police and CDA officials will be deployed and Director Enforcement and Director Municipal will monitor the posts.
