Lahore: Anti-encroachment operation continues in Johar Town - Naveed Yaseen - 06-19-2008 10:31 AM
THE staff of the Estate Management Directorate of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) continued its clean up operation against squatters around the Expo Centre in K, R-2 and R-3 blocks of the Johar Town on Wednesday. An official statement said the staff removed hundreds of illegally constructed huts and mud houses. The operation will continue for another two days, the statement claimed.
