RAWALPINDI: Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) during its ongoing campaign demolished several buildings and plazas at Benazir Bhutto Shaheed Road, constructed in violation of building codes.
Town Officer Regulation Aftab Chohan along with police party demolished Happy Furniture and Nayyab Shahdi Hall, which were constructed illegally.
The owners of other illegally constructed plazas were also asked to remove their construction otherwise they would have to face strict action.
Rawal Town Administrator Arshad Warriach said strict action would be taken against illegal construction.
TMA has warned that constructions of buildings and plazas will not be allowed in the city against building code. app
