ISLAMAABD: Islamabad’s new Chief Commissioner Tariq Mahmood Pirzada assumed charge of his office on Thursday.
According to a press release, Pirzada met with the officers of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration and took a briefing on their responsibilities. Pirzada has replaced Shahid Mehmood who was removed by the federal government on Wednesday.
Islamabad Deputy Commissioner Amer Ali Ahmed gave a detailed briefing to the chief commissioner on the security and law and order matters.
