LAHORE: Justice Mian Saqib Nisar of the Lahore High Court (LHC), on an application of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA), vacated a stay against demolition of two commercial plazas in PIA Housing Society.

The judge directed the plaza owners to move the Supreme Court if they had any grievances against the LDA as the matter was in the apex court. The judge had earlier issued a stay order on a petition moved by the owners of two plazas, submitting that plazas were constructed in accordance with law, and that the society did not fall under the jurisdiction of the LDA.
