ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) would construct parking lots in H-9 weekly bazaar to redress the parking problem. Giving the details, spokesman for CDA Mustafen Kazmi said on Friday that the authority would start the construction of these lots from next month. He said the parking lots would have the capacity to accommodate almost 1,000 vehicles and would also help solve traffic problem around the bazaar. “CDA was committed to provide all kinds of facilities to the residents of the federal capital,” he said. He said the civic body was well aware of the parking problems in the weekly bazaars as a large number of residents visit these bazaars for their daily needs. Kazmi said CDA had reconstructed the weekly bazaars and provided facilities to the disabled to enjoy shopping on their wheel chairs. More bazaars: He said the authority was also planning to establish more bazaars for the citizens in the capital in addition to the improvement in the existing. The spokesman asked the citizens to extend their cooperation in making the capital cleaner and greener. app
