Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani will announce NFC award on 30th of December at Gawadar, coastal city of Balochistan. The provincial governments had forwarded the proposal for final approval to the federal government after the formula of NFC settled down between federation and provinces. President Asif Ali Zardari will announce the approval of award in his address on 27th of December that is also the second death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto. For the first time, other points instead of population are included in the award. Poverty, backwardness, land, revenue collection and generation are also included in the award. Balochistan’s income has increased from 4.5 percent to 9.5 percent in national income.
