ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) has issued a warning letter to the Zero Point Interchange (ZPI) project contractor to complete the work in the stipulated time. According to source, the warning letter has been issued to the construction company, Maqbool Associates due to slow pace of work. On the other hand, officials of Maqbool Associates said they were working to complete the project well in time. The project administration said that major part of the flyover on Kashmir Highway had been completed and remaining work would be completed in a week. The project has to be completed till September 2010 at a cost of Rs 2.34 billion and after its completion, the traffic would be converted towards these slip roads and remaining work at the site would be completed. The project administration said the terrorism incidents, the security measures and VVIP movement were affecting the transportation of construction material. online
