The City District Government Lahore has decided not to allow the business of chemicals in the residential areas, particularly, in the Walled City, directing the traders to shift their business to non-residential areas. This was stated by Lahore DCO Sajjad Bhutta while chairing a meeting of traders dealing in the business of chemicals here on Wednesday. He said, in Lahore, there were around 600 chemical godowns and stores and their safety system was not as per international standard.
