Senior Provincial Minister Raja Riaz Ahmad has directed the officials concerned to complete in time all the 78 development schemes, worth Rs.6236 million, in the Irrigations Department, and ensure their proper monitoring.
Presiding over a high level meeting here Tuesday, Raja Riaz said the funds should be utilized by the end of the year. He said the ADP review meetings should be held every month, directing the divisional heads to put up their reports.
He said the funds utilization should be increased and monthly progress reports monitored at the district level. The minister was informed that five schemes worth Rs.1154 million in D G Khan, eight schemes worth Rs 113 million in Sargodha, four schemes worth Rs 722 million in Faisalabad and 15 schemes worth Rs. 1103 in Lahore would be completed. He ordered review meeting on 15th of every month.
