ISLAMABAD: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Kamran Lashari has stepped up efforts to get his term extended for the third time.

In this respect, he is reported to have met Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani the other day. It’s also learnt that Lashari is also wooing top PPP leaders for extension in his term in office, which is to end on November 10.

He was appointed the CDA chairman on November 10, 2003 for three years on contract basis. His contract was extended twice.

CDA to spend Rs 40m for Lehtrar Road repair: Capital Development Authority (CDA) will spend Rs 40 million to repair Lehtrar Road, which is in bad shape.

It’s learnt that work on the section between Khana Pul to Neelor will begin shortly. The road is expected to be opened to traffic by the end of current year. online
