LAHORE: Twelve former chiefs of the Intelligence Bureau (IB) secretly met at a dinner hosted by IB Director General Javed Noor in Islamabad, a private TV channel reported on Thursday.
According to the channel, those who attended the dinner are Shoaib Suddle, Brig ® Ejaz Shah, Col ® Bashir Wali, Maj Gen ® Niazi, Maj Gen ® Masood Sharif, Col ® Iqbal Niazi, Malik Manzoor, Chaudhry Manzoor, Brig ® Imtiaz Ahmad, Maj Gen ® Agha Naek Muhammad and Gohar Zaman. Those who attended the dinner said the Director General Javed Noor arranged the dinner to “set a new tradition”.
Brig ® Imtiaz told the channel that the dinner was “not politically motivated”, and no formal discussion on any current subject was held. He said the Kerry Lugar bill was not a topic of discussion at the dinner. daily times monitor
