ISLAMABAD: As many as 30 Afghan nationals working as imams (prayer leaders) at different mosques in Mardan have been arrested, while scores others have been expelled from the region, Mardan Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Syed Akhter Ali Shah claimed on Monday. According to a private television channel, the expulsion of Afghan nationals would greatly help in curbing incidents of terrorism and kidnappings for ransom in Swabi and Mardan districts. app
