TCP postpones wheat tender
KARACHI: Trading Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) has postponed its 5th tender for the purchase of 250,000 metric ton of wheat. According to TCP here Wednesday, the tender was floated on August 7, 2008, with the opening date of August 23.
TCP has not cited any reason for postponement but said the new date and time for tender opening will be announced later. TCP has the mandate to import 2.5 million tons of wheat to meet shortage in the country. app
