Thirty textile mills shut down in Karachi

KARACHI: As many as 30 textile mills in the different industrial areas of Karachi have shut down completely.
Twenty mills wound up in SITE area while 10 in North Karachi industrial area because of rise in cost of production, higher utilities cost besides law and order situation and political uncertainties in the country
Another reason is the ever-increasing rate of interest, said the owners of these mills.
