LAHORE: Labourers work to renovate a tomb on Multan Road where Mughal princess Zebunnisa is believed to be buried. Zebunnisa was the daughter of Emperor Aurangzaib Alamgir. A patron of arts at a time when women, especially those from the royal family, were confined to the household, Zebunnisa wrote poetry under the pseudonym of ‘makhfi’, which means ‘the hidden one’. daily times
