‘Overseas Pakistanis to get right to vote’
ISLAMABAD: Overseas Pakistanis will exercise their right to vote in the next general elections, said Federal Labour, Manpower and Overseas Pakistanis Minister Syed Khursheed Ahmed on Thursday. He was speaking at the ground-breaking ceremony of the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) valley, Zone-V. He said the long-standing demand of overseas Pakistanis for exercising their right to vote in elections had been accepted by the present government, adding that a mechanism would be developed in consultation with the Election Commission of Pakistan in this regard. staff report
