Islamabad: The Muslim Colony, an adjacent area of Bari Imam, has been deprived of basic facilities creating severe difficulties for the residents.

Residents Tarab Ali, Ghulam Ali, Inayat Hussain, Ghulam Rasool, Mohammad Hussain, Mohammad Sharif and Haji Ibrahim while talking to Online complained that their colony has no gas, water, road, school and dispensary facility.

According to them, the locals bring wood from forest and use them as stove. Population of about 6,000, they added, is facing severe difficulties due to absence of basic facilities including that of drainage and sewerage system, which according to them, causing several diseases among the locals.

They said ten hand pumps installed for provision of clean drinking water have been out of order while water is being supplied in lines once or twice in a week, which they added was not sufficient.
