Dawah Academy of Islamic University has invited applications for solitude (Aitakaaf) in Faisal Mosque by August 10.

Coordinator of ‘Aitaakaf’ committee, Syed Ali Ahmad Shah told APP on Wednesday that this year they have managed to accommodate 600 people who will participate in ‘Aitaakaf’.

He added that Dawah academy would arrange various training programs for the worshippers who will come across the country in the last 10 days of Ramzan.

“ Dawah academy will also arrange ‘Mehfil Shabeena’ during the last three days of Ramzan in collaboration with the Ministry of Religious Affairs”, he maintained.

It is pertinent to mention here that worshippers across the country used to sit in solitude in the Asia’s largest Faisal Mosque, since 1988, the year when it was built.

Ali Ahmad Shah said that people below 18 years are not allowed to participate in the congregation of ‘Aitakaaf’ in the Mosque. He told that the administration would make complete arrangements for ‘Iftar’ and ‘Sehr’ during ‘Aitaakaf’ at the mosque.
