Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Sadar) Captain ® Fariduddin Mustafa, imposing Section 144, has banned construction of houses within the limits of sectors G-14/1, 2 and 3. Under the ban, transportation-loading-unloading of construction material within the limits of the sector has also been banned for two months. The order says it has come to the knowledge of sub-divisional magistrate (Sadar) that some people were constructing houses in villages falling in sectors G-14/1, 2 and 3, which has been acquired for the development of housing scheme of the Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation. Houses are being constructed only for the sake of improvement and to enhance compensation of ‘built up’ property, which is against the law. Action will be taken against the offenders as provided under the law.
