ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid Member National Assembly (MNA) Shehnaz Sheikh on Friday sought Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani’s help against a patwari (revenue officer), who, she claims, fleeced her in a land deal. Sheikh said on a point of order in the National Assembly, “Mr prime minister, please help me. I have already submitted a request to you but no action has been taken... The government seems helpless against this influential patwari.” The MNA said the Interior Ministry should also address the peoples’ grievances. Citing a PPP worker’s killing, MNA Jamshed Dasti said there was no rule of law in Muzaffargarh. staff report
