RAWALPINDI: Additional District and Sessions Judge Sajid Ali Awan on Tuesday ordered Gangmandi police to register a case against nazim and naib nazim of union council (UC) of Hazara Colony in response to a petition filed by a citizen.
Applicant Manazair Khan told the court that Nazim Babar Sultan and Naib Nazim Imtiaz Khan had allegedly occupied his 10-marla plot and threatened him with dire consequences if he approached police or other government authority.
He said he had already filed a similar plea with another court that directed the police to book the nazim and naib nazim, but they adhere to the court orders.
Hence, the Gangmandi police station house officer (SHO) appeared before the court after being summoned and was directed to register a case against the nazims and submit a compliance report on next hearing.
