ISLAMABAD: The government on Saturday increased budgetary allocations for National Accountability Bureau (NAB) by 362.53 per cent from Rs 150 million in the current financial year to Rs 693.79 million in the next fiscal. The NAB had got Rs 150 million in the original budget for FY 2008-09 but the allocations were later jacked up to Rs 478.37 million with a 54 per cent increase. According to the budget document, Rs 219.76 million has been earmarked for the NAB headquarters, Islamabad; Rs 89.59 million for Rawalpindi Bureau; Rs 112.42 million for Lahore offices, Rs 81.58 million for Peshawar offices; Rs 108.71 million for Karachi offices, and Rs 81.75 million for Quetta offices. staff report
